Plan Details and Plan Versions im Projekt

Plan
Page description

You open this page by clicking an individual plan in the plans overview. It consists of two areas: the plan details and the plan versions (its own tab/sub-page).

Who can see and edit this page

Viewing requires the "Plans" read permission in your project role. Editing the title/tags/notes requires the "change plan details" write permission, uploading new versions requires "create plan version", activating a version requires "activate plan version", and deleting requires "discard plan file". If you lack a permission, the respective action is disabled or hidden and additionally refused on the server.

Layout of the page

On larger screens you see a split view: on the left the detail sidebar with the tabs "Plan details" and "Plan versions", on the right a zoomable plan preview. On small screens (smartphone) you only see one of the two areas at a time.

Tab "Plan details"

Here you see the plan's title, a preview image of the active version, assigned tags and notes. The pencil icon in the top right opens the edit dialog with the following fields:

  • Title – required, must be unique within the project.

  • Tags – multi-select from the tags defined in your project.

  • Notes – multi-line free text field.

Effect on others: changes to title, tags or notes are distributed to all project members immediately — they see the new values without reloading, including in the plans overview and its tag filtering.

Plan preview

The preview shows the currently active plan version, zoomable, with all ticket markers pinned to it. This lets you see at a glance where tickets have already been created on the plan.

Tab/sub-page "Plan versions"

Here you manage this plan's version history — newest version first, each with a preview image, creation date and original file name.

  • Upload a new version directly: the upload button lets you upload a single PDF, image or IFC file as a new version of this plan.

  • Activate a version: every non-active version shows an "Activate" button; the currently active version instead carries an "Active" badge. If the plan has at least two precisely pinned tickets, activating first opens an alignment dialog: you position two reference markers on the new version at the same spots as on the old version. Based on that, all ticket positions are then automatically recalculated onto the new version, so the markers remain in the correct place. If the plan has at most one ticket, the version becomes active immediately without this intermediate step.

  • Delete a version: with a confirmation prompt. The active version itself cannot be deleted — you need to activate a different version first. If you delete the version you're currently viewing, the view automatically jumps to the active version.

  • Download a version: downloads the original file of that specific version.

Effect on others: as soon as you activate a version, it becomes the new active version for every project member — everywhere in the app where this plan is shown. If someone is still viewing an older version, a red warning icon alerts them that the one they're viewing is no longer the current one. Deleting a version only affects that one version and its file; the other versions and the plan itself remain untouched.
