The project overview in upmesh

Project
Page description

The project overview is your home page in upmesh once you have logged in. Here, you can find all your projects at a glance, search and filter them, create new projects, and manage pending invitations.

Finding Projects

Use the search field at the top to filter your projects by title — the list updates automatically as you type.

For a more precise selection, open the filter (button in the top right corner). There you can combine:

  • Only your own projects or projects from specific creators

  • Project type and status

  • Timeframes for project and construction duration

  • Show or hide archived projects and templates

If a filter is active, the filter icon will be highlighted in color; clicking it resets the filter. Your search and filters are preserved even after reloading the page.

Switching Views

With the view switcher, you can choose how your projects are displayed:

  • List – compact overview with a preview image for each project

  • Table – sortable columns such as title, owner, and creator

  • Gantt – chronological representation as a diagram

On desktop, you can also activate the card view: The page will be split into a project list (left) and a map (right). Your selected view is saved for your next visit.

Creating a New Project

Tap the plus button in the bottom right corner. In the dialog, enter a title (required field) and create the project. It will then appear directly in your list.

Opening a Project

Clicking on a project opens its detail view. You will land on the last used home page of the project, for example, on the tickets or plans.

Copying a Project

Use the copy dialog to create a copy of a project. Assign a new name and select what should be copied — such as members, plans, tickets, folders, files, daily reports, or views. After copying, the new project appears in your list.

Archived Projects

You can recognize archived projects by the archive icon. Clicking it opens a dialog with three options:

  • Download – download the project data as a backup

  • Reactivate – make the project active again

  • Delete – permanently remove the project (with a security prompt)

When deleting, you must check a box for confirmation before the button becomes active.

Project Invitations

If you have been invited to a project, it will appear in the invitation area above your project list:

  • Accept – the project is added to your list and opened immediately

  • Decline – the invitation disappears, and the project is not added

Offline Mode (App only)

In the iOS and Android app, you can make individual projects available offline. To do this, tap the cloud icon on the project. In the offline settings, you can see the sync status and progress; once activated, synchronization starts.

Good to Know

  • The project overview is only accessible after logging in — without an active session, you will be redirected to the login page.

  • Actions such as creating or deleting require an internet connection. If you are offline, a notification will appear and the action will not be executed.

  • If the list shows "No projects found", check whether any search or filter criteria are still active.
