Ticketstatus in the project settings
On this page you customize the displayed labels of your project's four ticket statuses, without changing the status logic itself.
You find this page in project settings under the "Status" tab.
Important to know: no free statuses, just renaming
Unlike you might expect, you cannot create or delete new statuses here. There are exactly four fixed, technically hard-coded statuses: "Open", "In progress", "To be checked" and "Done". On this page you can only override the displayed text of each of these four statuses for this project — the underlying status logic, order and color remain unchanged.
Who can see and edit this page
Viewing requires regular read access to project settings. Saving a changed label requires the "change project" write permission of your project role. The edit button is visible to anyone with read access regardless of permission; without the right permission, only saving fails with an error message.
Changing a label
The pencil icon on a table row opens a dialog with a single text field. Enter text there and save, and that text is shown from then on instead of the default label. Leave the field empty and save, and the display falls back to the original default label — that's how you reset a custom label.
A changed label takes effect immediately for all members of this project — everywhere the status is shown: the status chip on a ticket, kanban board/filters/lists, and in reports and exports. The change only affects this one project, not other projects of your company. If your company has set company-wide default labels, a new project initially inherits them as a starting value; changing them here only overrides the company template for this project. When copying a project, the adjustments made here are copied along.
