Project status in the company settings
On the Project Status page in the company settings you define company-wide status values that you can later assign to each individual project — for example "In planning", "Active", "On hold" or "Completed". These statuses are independent from ticket status, which is managed on its own page.
Who can see and edit this page
Every employee of your company status of a project. However entering this page and therefore creating, editing, deleting and reordering a status is only possible as a company admin.
Creating a status
The round plus button in the bottom right opens the dialog for creating a new status. You give it a name (required, must be unique within the company) and choose a color from ten predefined options. The new status is automatically appended to the end of the existing list; you adjust its exact position afterwards by dragging (see below).
Editing a status
The pencil icon on a row opens the same dialog pre-filled with the current values, letting you change the name and color.
Effect on other pages/users: a project status is a central, company-wide setting. If you change the name or color, it takes effect immediately everywhere this status is shown — for example in the project list (a dedicated status column appears there as soon as at least one status is defined), in the project filter, on project cards, in dashboard widgets such as the map view or Gantt charts, and in report templates. This affects every employee of your company equally, not just you.
Changing the order
Use the horizontal-bars icon on the left of each row to drag a status to a different position. The new order is saved immediately — there is no separate save button. This order determines the sequence in which the status appears wherever it can be selected in the app (e.g. in the selection menu on a project), and it applies company-wide for all users, not just locally for you.
Deleting a status
The trash icon on a row deletes a status after a confirmation prompt. If the status is still used by at least one project, deletion is initially refused; instead you're shown a list of the affected projects with the option to explicitly force the deletion. If you confirm, all affected projects are automatically reset to "no status" and the status permanently removed. This reset affects the projects and therefore potentially every member who sees the status in their project overview.
Bulk creation via Excel (desktop/web only)
On the web, the plus button also gives you an Excel import/export option. You can export a sample file with the currently configured statuses (columns: order, name, color), adjust it, and import it again. Important: the import creates a new status for each row — existing statuses are not updated or overwritten by it.
