Daily reports in the project
In Daily Reports you record a site report for each calendar day: weather, crew present, subcontractors, work performed and special occurrences — including photos, attachments, and an optional ticket report.
You find Daily Reports in the project menu under "Daily Reports". The overview sits at the project's base route. An individual day opens beneath it with the date in year-month-day format.
Who can see and edit daily reports
Any project member with general project access can read them. Regardless of your role, your company admin can individually block you from editing daily reports. Without this permission, the edit, settings and create icons are hidden or inactive.
Overview page
The view switcher lets you choose between a calendar view (weekly cards, grouped by calendar week) and a table view. Your choice is saved locally on your device. A search bar performs a full-text search across existing reports while searching, empty days are also shown.
The settings icon (gear) lets you configure, if you have permission, project-specific additional fields for daily reports; this setting applies to the whole project and all members, not just you. The download icon lets you download several days together as one PDF (choose a free date range or a quick preset).
The round plus button in the bottom right (permission required) opens a date picker to create a new daily report. Days with an already sent/finalized version are marked green, plain drafts red. You cannot create a report for a future date. There is no active delete function for reports in the UI.
Table view: columns and actions
The table shows: date, whether weather data is recorded, whether crew is recorded, whether subcontractors are recorded, work performed, special occurrences, your project-specific additional fields, and a chip showing the number of already created versions (green from one version onward, otherwise orange). The default sort is by date, descending. Each row offers — if you have permission — the actions send, PDF download and edit.
This table has no dedicated menu to show/hide columns — which additional fields appear as a column is controlled exclusively via the project-wide configuration in the settings dialog (see above), not directly in the table itself.
A single day: calendar and preview
The detail page for a day shows a calendar at the top for quick navigation between days (red = draft with no version, green = at least one version exists). If no report exists yet for that day, you see a notice with a create button (if you have permission). If one exists, the preview shows you all recorded content read-only: weather, own crew, subcontractors/attendance, work performed, special occurrences, your additional fields, photos and file attachments, plus a version history with every PDF version created so far, including a send log (when, by whom, to whom it was sent).
Editing a report
The edit dialog opens as a full-screen form with the following sections:
Crew – your own personnel with name/group, task, time range and total time. A button lets you automatically import entries from that day's time tracking, provided your company uses the time tracking module.
Subcontractors/attendance – company (with autocomplete from your project team), number of people, times, note.
Weather – several time blocks with temperature, weather condition (12 options), and a note. A button fetches weather data automatically based on the site address, provided an address is stored in the project.
Work performed and special occurrences — free text each.
Additional fields – configured per project.
Ticket report – optionally included, with a day filter, layout settings and template choice, generates an additional ticket report within the PDF.
Photos and attachments – upload, with adjustable image quality and images per row.
The "copy from another day" icon lets you copy crew, subcontractors, weather, texts and additional fields from a different day as a starting point.
Save vs. create a version
"Save" stores your current state as a draft, still editable, visible to you and other authorized project members.
"Create version" generates an additional, unchangeable PDF version in the chosen project folder and directly offers to send it by email. There is no hard lock. The report itself remains editable even after creating a version. Earlier versions are not overwritten and remain in the version history, so you can trace the progression.
Effect on other users
Every change to a daily report is distributed to all project members immediately — if someone opens the same day, they see the current state without reloading. Created PDF versions land in the file manager of the chosen project folder and are viewable there by authorized members. When sending by email, the app remembers your last set of recipients for this project locally on your device, for faster reuse next time.
